Our dedicated teams deliver a comprehensive range of best-practice natural area management services including assisted natural regeneration, habitat creation, mulching, erosion control, and revegetation at all scales. More specialised services include expertise in Asset Protection Zone management, controlled burn site preparation, post-burn regeneration, soil remediation and translocation, creek and mine site rehabilitation, as well as track construction. We have IRATA Certified ropes-assisted access staff, and mobile teams to facilitate access to tricky and remote sites.
Bush care and beyond
Toolijooa has been involved in the active restoration of the bushland in Sydney and its surrounds for over 20 years, regenerating local plant communities to aid in their protection and enhance biodiversity. Successful bushland regeneration activities require an intimate knowledge of the ecology of the many plant communities in and around Sydney and the ecological processes involved in bushland areas. Our experience and knowledge in these areas has led to our reputation for delivering quality bushland management, providing value to our clients while promoting the use of environmentally sound methods. Our services in bush regeneration include noxious and environmental weed control, Rope assisted weed control, Asset Protection Zone creation and maintenance, pre and post fire regeneration works, soil stabilisation and erosion control, revegetation, brush matting, direct seeding and volunteer supervision.
Toolijooa’s ‘Special Projects’ division was developed to expand on the bushland restoration being undertaken, using the knowledge and skills developed in natural restoration and applying them to larger scale projects where a higher level of intervention is required to restore an area. This allows us to produce a reconstructed environment in keeping with the natural assets of local areas. Our services in natural area reconstruction include landscaping, creek line and wetland reconstruction, track construction, large scale revegetation and mulching, jute matting and soil translocation.
